Early career BA Fine Art work where interests in societal issues began and using art as a means to explore and communicate these to provoke questions and new thinking in the viewer.
Concerned with female bodily issues, consumerism and both mass production and consumption, the work used the self and lived experience of food factory production lines to question what we consume and the complex relationships between food, the body, ideals of beauty, desire and repulsion.

This period fostered my belief in letting the concept drive the methods and media used to create outputs.
Methods employed included film photography and analogue video, sound works, food casting and sculpture.
