Space to Create
Summer 2024
I had the great pleasure of working on a series of weekly creative workshops with participants from Chrysalis Women’s Centre St Helens to explore together through art. Through drawing, print and ceramics women came together to gain new skills and create their own artworks with a sense of enjoyment.
Most importantly we talked, over many cups of tea, and we explored our wellbeing and experiences in life. Creativity was our catalyst.
This work provided me with the opportunity to explore alternative spaces for art making and to investigate whether creativity can improve health and wellbeing for women.
